No,I haven't tried it yet - only had the iPad for around a week so I'm on a steep learning curve. They did tell me about the tutorials and I will probably take them up on that at some point (nearest store is Plymouth though and thats around 45 miles from me!). In the meantime I am just have a good fiddle about with it with the aid of 'iPad in Easy Steps' and its going fairly well.

I was just a bit concerned that I had acquired a couple of 'extras' when I install iTunes on my main desktop computer. It appears from what Frequent said that this is nothing ominous so I am happy again.

I've got to say that this new iPad Air is rather lovely ! Expensive I know - but largely paid for by my shopping savings.

Good luck in securing the tutorials .
Thanks for the ipad Air heads up , I'd never heard of it prior although I did have a quick go on a laptop/notepad that might have been part of the Air series , it was mighty thin and light and as you say , expensive .
I feel a gravitational pull towards the apple .
I was young once , now I get older all the time .

Do you know about the five finger thingie to close the page you're on?

Also if you double press on the button at the bottom it shows you all of the aps you have open and then you can properly close them if you wish (by swiping upwards)

I knew about the double tapping but not about the five finger thing.

That sounds so rude :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I picked one up yesterday - with an iPad 2 in my other hand. The difference in weight and thickness was amazing. I think I might be in love !

I only found that by accident :o

My hubbie is obsessed with the double click of the round button! If the kids have had the ipad, they have a zillion aps etc on the go, apparently slowing my old dog down. I have to clear them!

Overall, the pic quality on the air is amazing. I dont use it though. Scared of damaging it so i stick with the old one!

Hello, I have one of these halogen ovens, bought for me as a present from Ideal World, almost 3 years ago, by my mum. The thermostat broke a month ago, so I looked at websites and spoke to several companies, who could supply spares, but would not take any returns if the bit did not fit. Rather in despair, I called Ideal Word for help. They arranged a pickup from my door, repair, and return to me. All free of charge. I was stunned to find out that they actually sent me a brand new one, within 5 days, to replace my old one. I use it every day, find it brilliant, and really appreciate having one again. Great customer service!
I am not young enough to know everything.
