Good Morning to you all

Second day and I am still here despite the rocky start.

Whilst yesterdays news is now fish and chip paper it is painfully obvious that this thread is in jeopardy and from what I gathered it is not the first time. I can't comment on the earlier history but I can on yesterdays and the damage limitation needs to be rolled out in shed loads now to have any chance of you and hopefully me if you'll still have me remaining as a group.

From a newbie to the thread point of view (for what its worth) even I can see the huge merit of this thread remaining open but yesterdays behaviour was frankly nothing short of disgusting.
We all have different points of view and thats acceptable but it becomes unacceptable when abuse is thrown into the pot in a forum like this. It is always going to end in tears if it is not put to bed immediately and thats where it all went so wrong and always will if the lines over which we don't cross aren't drawn.
Everyone is waking up this morning praying this fantastic and informative thread that so many of you have made friends on and some have NEEDED as a lifeline is still here.
Last night so much was being done by others to swerve the thread away from the bitterness to no avail because in the heat of the moment nothing else matters. All normal reactions but here sometimes you have to step outside the box because being sorry and paying the thread is still here might be way too late. There was fault on all sides of the involved because feeding the fools by reactions is equally as damaging in a situation like this.
In life some people are fools and need a good kick up the backside there is no doubt and they should be told if abusive but only once on here in public. Let the moderators hopefully do the rest. Once a warning is issued by a moderator the writing is on the wall and thats when we need to keep our heads down and go under the public radar via a pm if absolutely necessary. You can bet there was a massive amount of reports last night which the FT will be sifting through.
Lord knows what fate lies ahead but I think everyone should agree and promise that no matter how hard it gets to not react more than once. That way the trouble maker stirs an empty pot and the good people outshine them.
Maybe promising this and accepting that any deviation that is uncomfortable to others within reason will result in some sort of cooling off period may keep this thread alive.
I hope I haven't sounded like a preacher as thats not my intention.

Hi all. Sorry I've not been around I've been away and only been have a quick browse through comments. Not sure what when on last night but it seems there is a small minority out there who are purposely going out of their way to be nasty and winding people up.

I haven't been around as long as some but from what I've seen there are some genuine, honest, caring and sharing people on here who help each other out and over time have become friends.

To help save this thread I will be reporting and blocking anyone I see making nasty comments. The key is to not respond to their comments just report and block. If we all did that they would have no one to talk too

I hope it all calms down and this thread can get back to the way things were.
