Night everyone. Let's hope the glitch fairy works her magic overnight xx
This thread has saved me so much money and is helping my kids keep debt free at a University, I would hate to see it shut down because of a minority of posters xxx
A house divided against itself cannot stand - I love this proverb, and thanks to my lovely family for making me realise that we can get through most things together0 -
Oh nuts and I spent all afternoon googling them
Ha ha it was so funny and a much needed laugh on here for those of us that saw it. :rotfl:
On another note, I was by Boots so popped in and got the last four face mask tubes for £3and my DD was given a few gifts by the girls.
Then whilst sitting in the most awful traffic I decided to venture to Sada to kill some time but alas I didn't have any knowledge of what to buy so decided to make the visit useful and see if anything needed tidying in the carpark. We found a few, DD was dying with embarrassment which made it more entertaining but then got into it and actually went down the baskets in front of an employee to get one! God even I wouldn't of done that. We paid for items we purchased at SS till and lying there underneath was a whole bunch of discarded litterbut neither of us could quite bring ourselves to sweep them up.
So from sweeping outside I have a few but now what to do? I guess I need to enter them but are they counted even if no APG and surely I can only enter one for todays date? Any help would be gratefully received but if not then I totally understand.
Thank you.
Bumping this up as I think it got lost in transit so as to speak.:o0 -

There will be a straw that breaks the camels back .....and it may just be one insignificant post that does it:(

Why do they allow children on Facebook, but then again if it was not Facebook it would be something else.
I thought you had to be over 14 to be on FB or has this now changed.
Not that I believe FB would have regulations to even monitor this.0 -
Oh, forgot to mention... I managed to get a copy of Glamour mag for £1 at Wilkinson after hearing about it on 10 ways. Got £3 worth BS voucher and a lovely pot of silver nail varnish.:D0

I'm not a prankster there are too many of them on here i was a regular poster on here but dont have time these days but just had to sit very still tonight0 -
Oh hello:) - I couldn't resist: back from M:o:o. Or at least I would have been back here at 7.30 tonight, but when I got back home, family wanted to me to go out with them. So I went with them..but how boring:(:rotfl:, I'd rather have been collecting prices in Mr M!:rotfl::rotfl:
Sometimes - I don't mean it in suggesting I never like a good party (far from it in fact!:D) - but sometimes it just means you'd then back home much later and then can't do much else. Then have to go bed and get up again. Really(!):rotfl:
So, after appeasing the others first, I am here...and lot to catch up with again. So it's now for me to unveil...
A new feature!!:D (Don't know how long or not this will last...)
The Savvy Memory Man Morries - I was going to call it "List" but need a synonym for "List" that begins with the letter "M". I thought Savvy Memory Man Morries Muddle:(:rotfl::rotfl:, but that wouldn't be right at all: it'd be far accurate and far from a muddle.
So I did a quick walk round a new Morries... and see how much I can remember!:) When I came out of the store I felt like I could have done a full Morries price collection, but I didn't have any paper or list with me to cross off and check as I wasn't planning it earlier on. Of course, they've now, at home, given me two and a half hours to forget everything I saw in Morries earlier.:(
But..give it a go:
I've not (or not yet) gone off M's website as I don't do it that way and I've found it much easier to go through the store. Having to press to expand, five items at a time, through each of the types of product and then do that again and again (on M's website) seems too much for me, as you don't see everything and neither do you, often, see which varieties within items it relates to.
We have the Pringles at 99p (Sour Cream, Original, Salt & Vinegar), PG Tips Pyramid Tea Bags 240 at £3.50, Vo5 500ml are £1.95, the Herbal Essences shampoos 400ml are £1.89, Johnson's 25 wipes (seems to be three versions) are at all £1.49, Scottish Mussels still £1.99 but I don't tell you about that as it's 'buy in M', Indian and Chinese meals are buy in 2s, I've heard about the Mug Shots now which I didn't see but pretend, the Dove and Sure APDs appear to be off, Kipling Viennese Whirls 65p until 17/11, the SP-equivalent items avoid mainly the tinned soups, beans and spaghettis and the like that have gone up (or did go up) everywhere, most other SP stuff that was on before appears to be on vs M (didn't see major price increases).
And...I've been waiting for this - only, in the event, never to have it on a proper full M price collection. Mr Kipling 6 Mince Pies are 89p. Now, last year or maybe the year before, these were the ones where Aldi was doing it's 'Aldi own brands cheaper than the brands' thing (or you think tastes as good as brands, according to survey etc.). I think Aldi's own brand mince pies were 85p back then and I remembered seeing them on their advertising at that time. So it was cheaper than Mr Kipling mince pies at every other supermarket. M 89p, more expensive surely?? I thought - well, no, Mr Kipling still work out cheaper than Aldi own brand - A vs Morries 89p and 10% cheaper!
Shopping from T, you don't need to go for the bogof on the Cadbury Caramel Sponge Puddings. Instead, the advice is a case of "Buy One - DO *NOT* GET ONE FREE". T at £2.00 for one should compare to Morries at £1.00, although we don't know what day of the week T gets its Morries prices (perhaps it's Thursday) and remembering the Flora Buttery 1kg did not get picked up earlier in the year.
Oh...Clover Original 1kg is now £1.85. Avs M?
And this post...therefore now is the Morries muddle! Mixing up the buys from T and the buys from A (vs M).
In a moment I think I can try to go for a memory challenge:rotfl: of 10 different items for Tvs M. And then will try to compile a few more on Avs M. Actimel 8pack yogs? (Are they in A?)
So...I'm off to msm.co.uk now, to put in my basket at T about 10 items (carefully chosen very no doubt:rotfl:) and then later onto doing perhaps a basket in A?!?:):) Back soon with my suggestion for a Tvs M shop!0 -
