Just had a knock on the door and refused to answer it :eek:I am all locked up as I usually am as soon as it gets dusk only to be pestered by cold callers selling something I do not like this particularly at this time of night especially when you live on your own:( so in no uncertain terms Nannylala told him where to go:rotfl::rotfl:

Well done Nannylala :T I don't open door neighbours know to knock on window first then the door or I wont answer. On very odd occasions bro visits he rings on mobile and asks why I am not answering door. :rotfl::rotfl:

Some new dtd excuses today :D

"It's not dtd because the SA who served you has left the store".

"The manager has left so as duty manager i'm refusing you dtd".

"We need to check the cctv".

"The price is not on the shelf".

    Carlsberg 30 cans for £16.

SA put through as 2x £16.

    Obviously not an overcharge :rotfl:

Quick phone call to head office to query the terms of an over charge.

Worth noting, on the board it says "shelf or product".

So a big red flashing saying "30 cans for £16" isn't on the product :D

Paid £32, reluctant DTD given £32.

The CS who refused DTD was not happy.

Neither was the duty manager. He told me "the manager had left", and about a minute later I saw the manager instore still working, that lie was also passed onto head office.

They might think about that, before they consider themselves in a position to adjust company policy all by themselves.

Poor service and a terrible attitude, both relayed to the manager by head office.

    Free beer for me

BTW HO number is 0800 505555 should you need it.
