As you can see the scoffalots have been at the carrot cake:eek:

Me too! I know you live quite near me - if you ever fancy a trip to Costco in Gateshead they do a massive carrot cake for about £6 - I had one piece last week and am still wearing it on my hips! My friend is going tomorrow and bringing me a few treats back! I daren't ask her to get me a carrot cake - it will go straight on my backside!!! Feel like I am pulling a caravan round at the moment with the size of my !!!!!!!

    Evening all

Had a busy couple of days trying to fit in all of the things I won't be able to do for a while. Had a lovely morning in my home town. Met a friend for a drink then went around the charity shops and had a general mooch :D Got DS1 some really cute little overalls and smart shirt :)

Have planned my next project - to make the boys Christmas stockings. May have to wait until my wrist recovers but I've been looking for some nice fabric. Have looked on etsy/eBay but not sure where else to look online (anyone have any recommendations please?)

Am feeling a little nervous for tomorrow's op. Should be quite quick as only under local and I'm well stocked up on painkillers. Will be glad when it's done though :o

Hope it all goes well tomorrow Logie and that you recover and see some improvement quickly :A

I was just chuckling about this as I was looking for the little bag of coal in the garage....
Years ago whilst at work I had to deal with this man whom slightly whiffed ( not as good as Dave tho)
on a home visit he offered me a drink, there wasn't a cat in hell!s chance that I could accept a drink , as the kettle was in living room , and it was
actually the only place I have seen muck where the muck was running down the walls , but then I saw it bits of coal on living room floor , a half empty bucket of coal ...... So I enquired as to when Central heating was installed ........ The old mans answer of "it's only been in 4 years " always makes me giggle

Please does anyone know if once you reach the 10 apg limit whether that receipt is dead?
I just checked one on my phone and it displayed oops there has been an error. So I checked on the lappy and it said I had reached my monthly limit. I am now guessing that actually claiming the vouchers on the app was a mistake and I should have just done the comparison and used the lappy to claim.

Haha, sounds lovely.. I am doing my best at the moment of trying to loose half a stone before Xmas so carrot cake isn't what I need.
Could do with healthy glitch if anyone is listening!!!!!
We're just happy to have a home, a family and our health. Whatever else is just added and it fits. :)
