As for him not receiving any attention during his life, I believe that was from choice. He was evidently quite a private person and a bit of a loner.

I am so glad it was well attended,I would have walked round with D/M she is 90 and ex bomber command she was stationed West Kirby where she met my Dad,but bad weather, and had to shop for my neighbours 86 and take to dinner club,good on you for attending.
