Never got the car vouchers up here but did distribute a shed load of comfort around the rellies. I dragged 25 bottles on the train !! 60 miles and walked from the train station. I must have been totally bonkers :eek::eek::eek::eek:

    Yep true dedication though lol.

I welcomed someone who was new, they were talking about shares which I though was odd but welcomed anyway.

I am now less likely to welcome someone right away as I assume they get a weird kick out of it when they are an AE. I now wait and see how the posts go before my welcome is offered. Sad, but I still am learning about the etiquette on here.

No one else will remember who welcomed who tomorrow. Enjoy your day.

what is an AE that people keep referring to :o

It's brilliant that so many wanted to attend!:T

altho it a shame no one gave him the same attention in life:(

I think he must have had a good life in his care home, otherwise an appeal wouldn't have gone out for folk to attend funeral. x

I thought he was a slightly odd newbie too - but his posts started to get increasingly pecluliar and I got the impression that he was deliberately tryin to offend/wind folk up. I know that none us lot are quite compos mentis at the best of times but this guy was swinging off the light fitting. I thought it was just me being overly sensitive and intolerant though.

Are we talking about someone beginning with J please

Serving soldiers, veterans, police, the fire brigade, RNLI, Hells Angels, and general public, young and old.

I talked to one couple who had travelled from Liverpool to pay their respects, as they thought it would be awful if there were only a few people at the funeral!

As for him not receiving any attention during his life, I believe that was from choice. He was evidently quite a private person and a bit of a loner.

    Thankyou.

Have looked for this before, in Tescos, cannot find it, don't think they stock it. :(

Ours does and it is not a very big store - it's usually on a bottom shelf.
