Deal has now been corrected in Tesco. It is now 342. I checked it at the till as well.
MSL is still showing yesterday's prices so I don't know if it will compare at Asda.
Trying to balance up between being sensible or dashing out to get some at Asda! So looking forward to the new Asda which will be ready near me in the New Year!
Totally irrelevant what's happening instore in T. What matters is the online prices. If t.com is still saying "this product is not available", it's good to go (may be good to go) in A - just aware of the "up to" 7 days thing, since it became unavailable through t.com. If however t.com says price and 'any 3 for 2', it's not good news:(:( - may get away with it if you go quick and before msm catches the new pricing from t.com, but you're running up against time.
Btw, prices (for competitors, exc. Morrisons) on the APG, as they take from online prices, are 'tomorrow's prices'. Meaning that the last day of a competitor offer may not pick up the offer. Also the first day is risky too, as needs time before it updates into the APG. Prices for A are also tomorrow's prices for the same reason. But system picks up price you actually pay instore, not the online price, unless you use a mbuy offer, in which case mbuy offer price returns. Meaning that, if prices are changing (Friday night is the best time to check for this, from around 7 or 8pm and shop must be completed before midnight), you could get a good thing. Watch particularly for mbuys ending online* that are still available instore.
*Online on later Friday night will show (start to show) Saturday's pricing, and A maybe sometimes 'cynically' increases prices for the Saturday to charge the more people that shop on the weekend more. Like stores tend to put petrol prices up on Thursday or Friday night as many people, working all week, leave to the weekend before they buy petrol. If you are working, best time to buy petrol is Tuesday or Wednesday nights! If the price is currently 'low' and may increase soon.
I hope they eventually get a new A near me. Will help to avoid trouting in the other current stores and be able to visit each a little less often!:D As well as providing a new (second) A store within nearer distance.0 -
