Apparently, they have been monitoring (tracking) me, and I've spent OVER 1,000 in their store this month. I guess this could be true. Or close to the truth, I am too upset to make any real calculations.

But I'm very very upset. I thought id share this, incase it helps someone, and I might get some support of some sort. I feel like Carp. They say i've been banned for LIFE from EVERY asda store! And if I dare to enter one, then I'm trespassing. I even signed a form to say this.

    Any help appreciated.

YQ, so sorry this has happened, you must have been really scared. Sounds like they were very heavy handed with you. I think I too would have just signed anything to get out of there and would have thought if I didn't they would call the police, which would have been worse.

Did they ask you for ID or or take your details? you could have just signed with a squiggle.

If it was me I (like others have said) would not shop in A for a while, but then maybe test the water in an A you didn't go to regularly, with a slight disguise on (just in case), and I would do a small 'ordinary' shop.. maybe get someone to go with you too.
Not sure what I would do in regards to emailing.. maybe email to explain and tell them how badly you were treated and plead dumb saying you didn't realise about any limit or something.
I know someone that was caught shop lifting in M's many years ago, and they were told the M stores had that face recognition thing, and they would be escorted out etc. They didn't shop at M for about 2 years, then started going again, and nothing at all happened.

Freedom of information does not apply to a supermarket.

Data protection act does and they'll want £10 for your info.

I would hazard a guess that there may be a letter from Retail Loss Prevention coming the way of YQ which if you research is just a speculative invoice.

No I am not paying for anything.

When I need to unlock I send requests to my facebook friends and sit patiently til they send me one. I need 3 in total from different friends ;)

I think I may finally need some candy crusher friends. Help!
