CSA- Grrrrr

Am I going mad or have the CSA surpassed themselves. Both my ex and I work for the same government agency. He has reluctantly paid maintainence for our son for the last 5 1/2 years. But not before refusing to pay anything for 6 months, moving his girlfriend and her daughter into our marital home ( I had moved out but was the one paying the mortgage). He managed to get a variation by saying he was supporting his girlfriends daughter even though I was able to provide evidence that it was me paying the mortgage.
I asked the CSA to review his payments about 3 years ago. He wouldnt co-operate so they contacted our employer and our sons payments went up. I then asked for a review about a year ago. I was reliably informed that he was working loads of overtime. I know this was accurate information too. The CSA refused to accept that as a reason to review the payments.
April 2013, he has now been promoted and transferred establishments ( we are both in the Prison Service). He is now the same grade as me but he now gets outer London weighting. Ive left it until September and then asked the CSA to review payment. That was the 10th. Ive heard nothing so rang them today. They say they contacted him and he stated that he hasnt changed grade and hasnt had a pay rise. Ive told them this is a lie and asked them to contact our pay section as they will verify this just like last time. Apparently, the CSA are a government agency so have to accept that what they are told by the parent without care. End of, no review and no change in payments. I'm absolutely fuming but what can I do? Any advice gratefully recieved

You need a written decision then you can exercise your right to dispute the refusal to supersede. In the first instance you must now request a Mandatory Reconsideration. In essence a new caseworker will look again at the decision. If you are still unhappy with the outcome you can appeal direct to HMTribunal service.
Incidentally there are no grounds for a Variation to support a partners child - he would be entitled to the standard 15% income reduction but that's it.0
