Tuna Pasta

I'm feeding a hungry group of 7 people tonight and have spaghetti, tinned tuna and tinned toms. Could you advise what herbs you would put with it?

I was thinking garlic, chilli, capers and parsley - sounds good?

No gherkins in the cupboards Lantanna although it sounds lovely. A jar of gherkins is lucky to last a week in this house! :)

One of Jamie Oliver's recipe (for fish though) is with tomato and capers, it is called Easy tomato sauce or something.
I made it for fish and it is completely lovely. I can imagine it on the pasta easily too (not with tinned tuna though, cooked tinned tuna for me is yuck.)
    That is the one

Looks good Any, thanks :) I think there may be olives lurking somewhere and will add a dash of red wine instead of the vinegar.

  • You're very close to Spaghetti Puttanesca, but using tuna instead of anchovies. It's very tasty!
