Hi, my 9 year old son recently bought an electric guitar at a car boot
sale. All we need now is an amplifier and jack plug to get it going.

I want to e-mail her back and say "Don't forget to ask for earplugs too!"

Right then - I've offered loads of stuff on freecycle - its major declutter time (am always like this when I watch 'Houses behaving badly' seeing as mine's behaving very badly :D )

We'll see what little gems land in my mailbox - have said I will consider all polite requests ;)

Not much in the way of offereds today but I'll check in there later.

    See ya later,

needed a new vac either dyson or vax, will be in all day sunday, so email me and i'll give you the address and you can drop off at your convienience

cheeky beggar, and why the new in bold.

Thats got to be one of the cheekiest, rudest wanted ads I've seen in ages  Hard to believe a Mod is letting that sort of stuff through. Like someone's going to reply 'oh yes, I've got a brand new Dyson I was going to throw on the tip so you can have it, and when would you like me to deliver it?'

Alternatively, I'd be tempted to give them Comet's number - their delivery charges aren't too bad ;)

:T My 'offereds' passed! The eagle eyed Mods didn't amend my ads :T

This group has a fair offer policy: you sign up to :-

Fair Offer Policy: I agree to take a period of time to see what responses I get before deciding who to give item(s) to. This gives members on Daily Digest, or those who don't have continual access to the Internet a fair chance to reply.

Joking apart... I think this is a really well run group that I'll be staying with.

Just another example of the power crazed mods. They love to embarrass the members who make a mistake. If I posted an offer and they edited my post I would withdraw the offer and tell them to fcuk off.
A decent mod would send a private email to the member and polity remind
    them how to post.

Having said I'll be waiting to look at all the requests and give everyone a chance to look at the group posts (ie min 24 hours), the first email said ' I'll take everything you've offered off your hands and will collect tonight' (bear in mind I've put 5 ads on for masses of stuff I'm giving away).

    I don't think so

Not sure if anyone can help. I need the loan or copy of the XP PRO CD
as i have my original Serial number but my disc was destroyed by our
puppy a few weeks ago, and good timing i have had to format my drive
today. If someone can help i would be so grateful.

This puppy sounds frightening to me, cute fuzzy things destroying computer disks. It's not right! Bet the vet would find some interesting things on an x=ray of that pup! :D
