I’ve just had a conservatory built, and now looking to furnish it. I therefore require whicker furniture, preferably in pale colours for cushions, would prefer 2 2 seater sofas, and a matching side table, some large plants (3-4) and a couple of rugs (preferably pale colours) to put down on the floor. I can collect anytime, or I am in ********* area if you wish to deliver. I look forward to receiving your offereds.

best of luck to you, cheeky beggar

Hi all, I just freecycled my first thing last night, our old vacuum cleaner, and was blown away by it! I was hoping to get rid of it but wondered if I'd even get a response. I had 5 within 5 minutes and about 50 altogether, I just ended up feeling sorry for all the people who I couldn't help.

Today someone is asking for a gazebo because they're getting married in their garden on saturday and didn't consider that it might rain.

darn cheek! If they're so fussy, they should try B+Q etc, there's some good offers on.

I went out to get some garden furniture and ended up in a humungous downpour !!! Might be better off buying a big brolly instead :D

Yes, hope some of the ones who joined here in recent weeks come back - I'd think now that other you-know-what is done with :lipsrseal they might do - hope so !!

    Offered - draughts drinking game

    hi again,

draughts drinking game. (glass board and glasses)
    ready for colection used once.

 hmmm.....I'd guess that each time you capture your opponents pieces, your reward is a drink - guaranteed that you're legless by the end of the game (unless you're a lousy player) :D

REPLY to rude mail about *name here*

I am replying to the very rude and deflamatory posting just made about
    PC courseware.

IO misread this persons mail and thought they were asking to have some
courseware. I work for an IT training company so I was offering to
give them a copy of notes for free. All my Freecycle mails are titled
spam through my firewall. I have given lots away and collected lots of
goods back and am a genuine freecycler.

That's what I get for being helpful.
I am reporting them back for being rude and ungrateful

    *Name here*

Very sad that people have to put up with that isn't it?

Re my last post saying I had been spammed by *name here*. There has been
a major misunderstanding here - *name here* thought I had posted a Wanted message & was actually offering stuff free of charge & because I had
actually posted an Offer message I thought she was touting for
business. I have apologised to *name here* & am happy to put the record
    straight.

Resolved it appears, though saying that it has still made the other freecycler look bad.

All that because the word spam was in the title, people who are spamming you don't announce it surely!!! I get tons of mails from freecycle with it in, something to do with either their or my firewall and av software I believe.

Shame that it got to the stage of being publisized on the group though, three not so cheery messages on the first page due to this.
