Virgin supersaver Saturday day return

Does anyone know what's happened to these tickets? I don't seem to be able to book one any more. They used to be about £39 and you had to book your outward journey in advance but could come back anytime that day. Only available for Saturdays from the North West to London from Virgin, but they were never available on the Virgin site. Nat Rail and red Spotted Hanky used to have them???

They are still available on some dates, e.g. 30 November.

They are quota controlled, i.e. a limited number and when that number have been sold that's it.

I notice that the earliest ones for tomorrow from Liverpool leave at 13:48. Earlier ones have probably sold out.

Another example, on 14 December there is plenty of availability on that route throughout the morning.

They will also probably not offer them when there is engineering works on the route.
