I need to start my diary up again, I had a little one in the summer but then stopped doing it.
I know when I'm coming on this site I get really focused so I'm hoping that by keeping a diary I will stick at what we are spending!!
Today has been a good day on the spends, but that's probably because I did a big food shop yesterday so I haven't needed to get anything. I do need to write a shopping list though for when I next go to the supermarket as I find I spend too much without one and I buy everything on offer so then have about 50 bottles of bleach!!
I think aswell that I'm going to put my credit card in the freezer, I did really well and had paid it off but then I went abit crazy and brought loads of things for the house so its built up again  I don't know why I started spending again, I could kick myself!!

Urghh I've had such a rubbish few days!!
Friday I was at work so I paid for parking and petrol, but then went into town and I brought myself a winter coat (preloved) and my DS some slippers. I then put £10 petrol in and got some shopping at £14.00. So total spends for Friday was £62.00.
Saturday, DD had a birthday party but we had to pay for DS to stay in the play centre at £4.95, then a couple of coffees later and a teacake for DS (as we was going straight to a bonfire after) we had spent another £10.00. We had already brought the fireworks ticket in the week so we didn't pay for entry but we spent a further £4.50 at the bonfire. DH then wanted a curry for us when we got home so we spent another £20.00 on that. Total spends for Saturday £39.45!!
Today we did abit of Christmas shopping, but this was from the Christmas savings so already accounted for.
I have paid an extra £100 tonight to a store account as I don't want to keep spending any money that we have in the bank account, I really need to get into the mind set of any extra money then I pay it straight towards our debt.
I feel so annoyed that we seem to just flitter money away. We have enough food in the house to get through the week so apart from any bread and milk that might need topping up I'm hoping (wishful thinking) that I won't really have much outgoings this week. I just need to get my a** in to gear and think before I spend anything otherwise I'll never make extra payments to get our debt gone.
I had listed 10 items on ebay but none of them sold so I'll try the local selling sights, I want to declutter the house before all the new Christmas things and any money made from selling can go as extra payments. This can be a job for tomorrow.

I haven't really done much today in the way of money saving. As the weather is so awful I had a house day, this morning I made a stew in the slow cooker for tea and then just spent the day getting all the laundry done and cleaning round.
So as we haven't been anywhere today has been a NSD
Tomorrow should hopefully be a small spend day as I have parking and petrol for work.
Off now to read some diaries xTotal Debt 01/01/14 £7810 / 01/02/14 £7060 / 24/02/15 £2700

Hi Diary
I've had a couple of small spend days.
My day off on Wednesday I took the children to a playcentre and it was £10.45 in total when I paid for my tab. I'm not sure if I was under charged though as now writing this the total including 2 admissions, 2 little cakes and a coffee. I'm sure its £4.95 a child, maybe she didn't charge for DS as he didn't really use much? I'm not sure.
I made a pasta bake on Monday night so the kids had that for tea and me and DH had jacket potatoes with cheese and bacon when he was home from work, yum!!
I've been at work today to help out as they was short staffed, so I had petrol and parking to pay for, but I should be getting discount parking soon so it will be £1.78 a day. OH got some milk and mushrooms this morning when he took DD to preschool, I'm not sure of spends there, but thinking around £4.00. I've used the mushrooms to put into a homemade quiche, I was going to make a leek and potato soup aswell but think I will do that tomorrow night now.
I've been worrying about an ebay item that I brought, it was a lace top but when it arrived all of the elastic was sticking out of the top, I messaged the seller and she said it was vintage and that was why, however her description classed it as new and VGC so I asked her for a full refund and offered to send the top back but she told me to keep the item and she would issue a refund. I've checked my paypal earlier and I still hadn't received it so I've just messaged again and she said its in the post so I will wait and see if it arrives.
I need to go and get organised for tomorrow now

Hi Diary
A busy few days!! I worked on Saturday doing some overtime and Sunday we went for a walk in the morning and then went to see family in the afternoon so a low spend weekend. DH got himself some beer last night and we watched I'm a Celeb.
Mondays we tend to have a house day so I made a Spag Bol for tea and I had my friend over for abit, I did need to do housework but I only seemed to get the kitchen and one load of washing sorted, which I put on the radiator instead of the dryer.. but the house gets warm so quick that I only had it on for an hour whilst we did baths.
I did a Sainsburys shop earlier as I had a £15 voucher off a online shop for being a new customer. I'm not sure if I got a lot for my money as the list didn't seem that big but I got a lot of meat and had to get nappies and wipes. I did like that I could see how much I'm spending as the supermarket I mostly use aren't online so I always get a shock at the till. I spent just under £75 and that included the delivery so will see what I think on Wednesday when it arrives.
I'm at work tomorrow all day but hopefully will get chance to make a veg soup when I get home as I need to use up my last bits and I need to cut up a melon that I've had for 10 days!! But that's in the fridge and feels firm so will be nice still (I hope).
I'm going to try and snowball later as I haven't really put a plan together on how much extra I'm going to throw at different debts. I'm really getting back into watching what we're spending though so need to start seeing the debts go down now.
I hope anyone who is reading has had a good day xTotal Debt 01/01/14 £7810 / 01/02/14 £7060 / 24/02/15 £2700
