The Aldi units have a 3 year warranty but I think the units should be quite reliable given that you will at most be using it for a few weeks in the year so 3 yr warranty seems more of a sales ploy ?0 -
I bought an Alaska unit - similar size but slightly better spec (remote control, timer function etc) from Makro for the same price, +VAT though admittedly. The one I have is absolutely great, works v fast and no noisier than a fan. With a 6month old in a very hot flat over the summer it's been worth every penny!0
