Was quite excited to get an email late this afternoon saying I had won a mid week Bluestone break, however I cant take this prize as its for Monday! I dont know many people who would be able to give such a short notice for work etc for 4 days off! has anyone else had one of these emails?

I got an email on Tuesday saying i had won but it was too short notice for me

It would be a redraw for a prize that someone else couldn't make. I got one a few weeks ago on a Friday for the following Monday! We were able to go our two selves and had a lovely time but with more notice we could have taken others with us. They are obviously trying to fill lodges which would otherwise be empty.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

I received one yesterday, fortunately it's only an hour or so down the road from us, i'm on maternity leave and my husband is self employed so we were able to go! Have to take kids out of school though but its worth it for the free break, heard its lovely there, we are looking forward to it!

Same here, I was contacted after a redraw yesterday but they offered it for 11th Nov. Very short notice so tried to negotiate with them. They offered us the 18th but sadly still no use for us, so ours will be redrawn too.
If you are offered one of these I would see if they would give you a later date as they did in our case.0 -
I asked them if I could have a different date and they were very good and offered me two different dates. I'm off there in 2 weeks. Hopefully you will be able to reschedule, fingers crossed for you x0

Just back myself from a mid-week win there. It was short notice but randomly I'd already booked the week off work to take my little girl to stay with nanny and grandad - so timing was perfect - we all headed off there instead! hubbie joined us for the last couple of days.
A little wet and chilly but a great break. 0
