An analyst isn't a fortune teller.

This argument is rather like saying Brian Clough knew nothing about football because be never won the pools.

You were the one that suggested they weren't all highly paid.

You must therefore have a view of what is highly paid.
    Not me.

    Where did I say that?

Clearly the ECB is still paying the price for their ill-advised increase in rates 18 months or so ago. A moved that was applauded by many on here, but which only lasted a couple of months before rates fell back. Something to remember for those same people on here clamouring for UK rates to rise.

Analysts will have differing views it depends on which view is chosen to follow which is usually a political decision.

Wouldn't have a vested interest either?

Will you personally benefit from low interest rates for longer?

(I know low interest rates are not just for mortgage payer benefits)
