I was just wondering if anyone could give me a bit of information, if you go bankrupt, will this affect the credit rating of others in the household for getting a mortgage.
Many thanks

thanks for that information the situation i am talking about is my husband (going bankrupt) we stay in my mothers house and she is looking to buy in the near future her council house. She dosent want to end up paying more on intrest because my husband has gone bankrupt when we are staying with her.
Thanks i presume from the information given this will not be the case as they have not financial links together.0
