ESA say they haven't received my report from Atos yet

Actually before it gets "processed" (and you could equally split hairs on the definition of "processed") it gets "received" into the notes and then passed on to a DM.

If you phone them, they will look at notes, if it does not say "ESA55 received passed to DM" then DWP has not acknowledged its receipt and you may be asked to phone ATOS to confirm it has been finished and sent. After calling ATOS you can't do anything except wait.

Once it is noted as "received" you can't do anything except wait, eventually the DM will make a decision and you will be notified by letter - usually arriving the very next day on your doormat.

No, my point is in the fact that DWP will continually blame Atos for not having ever received the report. (I am speaking from experience as both a 'customer' and working for DWP) I understand from other posters that Atos are currently auditing, but I'm talking about what happened to me last year and earlier this year.

DWP would say it had never been received by them and they were awaiting it being sent. That wasn't true.

And as for things arriving 'the very next day'. I wish!! Seems as everything seems to be sent 2nd class, I don't think I've EVER received anything from DWP the day after they've supposedly sent it.

This is actually incorrect. I have had it confirmed that ATOS send the ESA55 by post or courier they arrive every day in sacks at the BC and they are entered onto the notes as "received" as and when they open each file.

And I know what I am talking about, if you PM me I will happily tell you why I know this.

I'm currently being migrated from IS. I sent my ESA50 back in May and I'm still waiting to hear. I emailed ATOS on 21st October and they said that it's currently waiting to be reviewed by a HCP to see if I need a medical or if advice can be provided to the DWP without one.
I sent in alot of supporting documentation with my form so I really hope they read it.
