Hi All:D
I have been trying to sort out an unsecured loan for £15000 from many of the companies offering this amount, but have found that you can only get this amount under the following instants..
You pay the company £45 upwards fee in advance
They do a credit search
You own your own home
So, if you are a private tennent, and your credit history is not great, and you've paid out to companies before and got stitched up. How do you get the loan without messing up your credit history any further by multiple applications......???????????
please help, i want this loan so i can use it as a deposit on my own home and get on the property ladder, As getting a 100% mortgage for people in my situation is impossible

TBH I don't think you'll get an unsecured loan this big at any kind of reasonable rate of interest, unless your income is high. It's very hard for tenants to get on the property ladder because they're trying to save for a deposit whilst paying rent. Your best bet may be to try a housing association and investigate a part ownership scheme, though some on the property thread will advise that now is not a good time to buy a house at all. Good luck.0
