  • Pinkgirl. Yes! Call Stepchange. We've just started with them and whilst things are still being set up I cannot tell you how much of a relief it was. Took me months to realise and finally do it…didn't want to be defeated but how I wish I had done it all that long ago.
    You will find that you will create a budget where you will live on your income and maternity benefits and the debts will sit there quietly out of the way and start to be repaid. Believe me, it is liberating!
    Do try to rejoice your pregnancy. New life is a wonderful thing and if you can sort your debts out before the baby is due then you will really enjoy your new arrival.
