Does this sound like it's near exchange/completion?

Hi all. I put in an offer 5 weeks ago which was accepted, the only thing that's happened in that time is receiving my mortgage offer. I received this email today, does this sound it's near the end?
'The pack from the vendors solicitors arrived on Friday and I am working on the file as we speak.
Searches have gone off so should take around a week to come back now.
I will get some documents out to you (fixtures and fittings list and the like) to have a look through. I am sure there will be one or two enquiries to raise after I review the file today which is the norm (i.e evidence of boiler service, planning permissions for any works etc)
Once I receive the search result and replies to enquiries I will be in a position to attend upon you to sign documentation and would hope this would be in the next 7-10 days'
I was trying to find a timeline I found in a previous thread of the process, but can't seem to find it.
Many thanks

Have you had a survey done?0

I got a homebuyers one done yes, and a very basic survey with the valuation for mortgage offer. will my solicitor need a copy of this?0

I am not entirely sure, there are plenty on here who will know and prob answer soon but if you are using a mortgage broker they should be able to advise you of all of this. If you're still unsure just ask your solicitor.
For me the process from when the solicitor started searches was about 4-6 weeks but you never know what will show up.
You are paying them so don't be afraid to ask!0 -
Once the paperwork is in place, you will then be in a position to suggest your preferred completion date(s) to your solicitor for the other side to consider. Once you have a completion date on which the whole chain is agreed, then you can exchange.I am a mortgage broker.
