Which stakeholder offers the lowest charges for a pot of 50K and which is the best way to purchase to obtain this rate?

Lowest I've found is Friends Life through Cavendish Online:

# Transfers 0.4%

Aviva PPP at 0.4% also through Cav but 3x number of funds to choose from

Aviva stakeholder is 0.5% I believe. Their personal pension is 0.4% though as you mention.

Looking for cheapest stakeholder.
