25 yr old Scottish Amicable With Profits Endownment

Hi,

Just a heads up for any of you who have a the above maturing soon.

I received a letter from the Pru today giving me my shortfall on my with profits endownment which is up 2nd Dec 2013.

it would appear that I have a £9k shortfall on my policy (£49k death benefit) which is a surprise based on some of the comments I read on here last year. I did try and claim against the financial advisors a few years back and as they were not interested contacted the fsa (I think) They told me that everything was in order, which was surprising. I guess had I purchased my endownment from a bank etc then I may have got some compensation.

Anyway, just a heads up to those of you in the same situation.
