Hello everybody
Just a quick question....
My sister is about to purchase her first house and get her first mortgage.
She is looking for a mortgage of £130,000 to £133,000 over 25years
she would prefer fixed to start with to know what money is going where.
joint income of around £44k
where are the best places for first time buyers?
Thanks in advance

You do not say what the purchase price is, so we could work out the deposit (this is important as the bigger the dposit the better the rate)- however on that income you should be able to find quite a few lenders to go to that level.
This is however provided neither has huge outstanding liabilities i.e. credit cards, loans etc.
You also do not find FTBs getting any better treatment than homemovers, so your best bet is to look around - some lenders will offer a free valuation.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
