Selling platinum jewellery?

Hi
I have seen the posts about selling gold but how can I sell platinum jewellery - I have an diamond & platinum eternity ring & engagement ring and a wedding band which is cut in half as I had to have it cut off my finger while pregnant (!)
What's the best way to sell? I have spoken to friends in a simnilar position who said they struggled to sell to jewellers in Nottingham (which is where I am based)

Many firms that buy scrap gold will also buy platinum.
You can also try eBay or a "bricks and mortar" auction house. I would suggest you also do try your local jewellers as your items may be more in demand than your friends'.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0
