the last two years I have ignored the advents as I have not been organised and I felt like I wouldnt get anything out of it
This year I want to do them...any suggestions for being better organised?
I currently enter in a very sporadic manner which I enjoy and think i will return to after the advents

There is usually a listing in the dailies, that is easy to follow, hope that helps.:j:j:j Good Luck :j:j :j0

Quit your job, stay up late, buy coffee, turn off your phone, don't answer the door unless it's the postman and panic if you have to do anything but enter them.
But in all seriousness, pick the ones with the prizes you want. Don't worry about the rest!

I spent about 30 mins last year doing a list of ones I wanted to enter and then did a sort of checklist with Monday - Sunday then ticked them off to make sure I did them.
TBH, some of them aren't worth doing because it's things like discounts or 'pearls of wisdom' which aren't helpful if you want to win a telly or a box of choccys :rotfl:
I can't do them all, it would drive me nuts, although I sometimes miss the first few days as we go away for a break occasionally. It actually helps, having a little break away because it gives you more motivation to do them.
Although, I haven't got over the last couple of years advents :rotfl:It comes around far too quick.

I found that those I was interested in, and who gave you the details in advance of what was the prize for each day their advent was running, allowed me to make a list out ready, and any days I wasn't interested in I put a cross against, or didn't put the details down.
I then put relevant website links in folders in my bookmarks and worked through them each day, ticking that day off on the corresponding sheet.
Then any that weren't available until later in the day were put aside for doing later.0 -

Although the advents have their own thread, most get bumped thankfully with answers or what the prize is for that day so you will be entering lots of them on the main comp board

I just read through the advents thread, bookmarking the ones I really wanna do in a separate 'advents' folder. I ended up with about 40 last year I think. I'd find it impossible to do them all.0

That's exactly what I do, I lose a few as days go by when it becomes obvious that the prizes aren't so good, or the site plays up etc, but I couldn't do them all, there's way too many.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

Same here! I think it's important to pick and choose. I doubt anybody would find time to do them all (and they deserve a medal if they're able to!)2019 Wins
