  • Pick whatever colours you like really! It does help if you stick to only a few other colours though and try to match them with your flowers if possible so that you don't overdo it.

    Good luck!

Choose a colour you like but try and choose one that you can match with flowers (ie not blue / turquoise).

Have you got any ideas about where you are getting the BM dresses from? You don't have a lot of time to reorder if out of stock so you might be limited to what you can get from current stock. I would decide on the flowers after finding the dresses. Hope you get it all sorted best wishes for a lovely wedding day and a long and happy marriage.

There are some nice hair ornaments and decorations in the Indian fabric and accessory shops. They also do a nice line in jewellery. Good if you are on a limited budget.

I suggest you consider what colour the decor the room you are getting married in is so that you can get something that goes nice with it. I got married in a red room so I picked Gold for my colouring as I thought it would look nice, whereas pale blues and pinks etc would have looked horrible lol! BHS have some lovely bridesmaid dresses for kids and some of them are on sale just now. I saw some lovely ones in Asda and M&S last week too. You wouldnt need to get them bridesmaid dresses thought. Pretty matching dresses that they could maybe wear again (moneysaving all the way) would be just as nice.

We are having chocolate and cream for our colours, that was one of the first things I chose.

I think you need to choose your colours before you can start looking for dresses and flowers.

There are some fab dresses in the glam it up section of the additions direct catalogue for around £30 and you can also get a £10 off code, get 5 people to pay for the dresses on their cards and you can get £10 off each dress. Thanks for all of your help.
Now have BM dresses from BHS online - half price, lilac - bargain

got my dress ffrom Ebay £40 - new - shop sample

ordered my sons waistcoat again from BHS £7.50!! - great sale on at the moment and in Adams for wedding wear.

Going to do my own flowers whilst in cornwall, my local florist gave me loads of idea, very siple 2-3 flowers, big leaf thing and tied with rafia. which will cost around £5 instead of £20!

    So slowly getting there.
