I started this last year, its free have kept the weight off, doing a new program now, but this a great starter for a gym novice. I even competed in a bikini fitness comp afterwards.. Skys the limit, do it

I would recommend lifting weights when trying to burn fat. You actually burn a lot more calories quicker by lifting heavy rather than running hours on a treadmill. You'll also build some nice muscle at the same time which is a bonus :P. Just make sure you're reducing your sugar intake and increasing the proteins!

Also important to change your programme regularly....don't just do the same thing week in week out. Cut out sugar, reduce carbs drastically and up the protein. And I was told no caffeine for AT LEAST 4 hours after a work out.
    Good luck

Well done on your results so far.

As what you are currently doing appears to be working, just carry on the same until it stops working - you can then look at possibly changing your diet and / or training routine at that point.

In the meantime read up on training and nutrition - however, beware that there is a lot of "bro-science" and conflicting information out there.
