Currys/PC World holding funds

Purchased 2 x iPad air from PCW on Friday as could get discount with total cash back. Due to PCW making a pricing error we were told every order would be delayed by upto a week, even though we had paid the correct amount. We decided to cancel and go elsewhere. Now between PCW, Worldpay (who go between the bank and the seller on an authorised transaction),and the bank no one can tell us when we will get our monies returned.
Has anyone else experienced an issue like this and how did they get it resolved?

3-5 working days from the refund date.

Thanks CK. Is this likely even though no one can actually "see" where the funds are at present?0

They should be somewhere within Worldpay's systems, but should be with your bank still.
To remove the hold is 3-5 working days, for them to take the funds is 2-4 working days.
It's confusing, but unfortunately, isn't any quicker.
The most annoying thing, is that within most of the EU and CIS states, the money would leave immediately, and be returned immediately, but that's how far behind the UK is.
