  • I understand your point but we pass affordability checks without taking rental income into account so shouldn't be a factor.
  • Accord are specialist lender, non high street. Why has your broker recommended them. They are a friendly lender but specific in the non confirming arena more so than other big players.

Based on brokers who use them, maybe you should consider other lenders as s back up so you don't lose the property. Yes you'll be out of pocket, but rather than than out of house.

Complain? Waste of your time, literally. The house would be gone.

The application clearly included the fact my deposit is coming from equity in another house.

Released equity from the sale of property, is totally different to borrowing money from the value of. Changes the ball game. Something the original credit check wouldn't have disclosed either.
  • That's B**L*CKS

If you read my original post you will notice that NOTHING has changed since my application began. My broker asked Accord if they were happy with how we were sourcing the deposit - they checked and advised that they were fine with it.

This complaint is about Accord not completing their internal paperwork properly on their offer, which required me to wait on them to send us a revised mortgage offer. This lead to a delay of a month and counting and could mean I lose out on the house I want. I believe this is unfair and unreasonable treatment

As I have clearly said, all of this was disclosed and agreed by Accord so the delay is their fault but I might be out of pocket if I have to go with another lender or chose a different house. THAT is what I am saying is unfair and that is what I was hoping to have re-dressed.
