I think the single was No, No, No? Don't really remember that song, but independent women was on survivor, their third album, thats what wikipedia says.. and in the entry for the first album it says:


"Although failing to break the top 50 of the Billboard 200, it did go Platinum in the spring of 1999 in the U.S. in recognition of 1 million copies bought. Destiny's Child spent twenty six weeks on the U.S. charts, but climbed no higher than number sixty-seven. In the UK, it debuted in the top 50 of the albums chart on the strength of its lead single, "No, No, No,". The album did go on to sell 3 million copies worldwide, it was also re-packaged and re-released in several countries. Although in the UK, it took 5 weeks to enter the charts."

The answer might be 'With Me' cause Wiki says:

It (No no no) was the first single for the group, worldwide, but the second single for the group in the UK, after With Me

..... mind you it keeps contradicting itself ..... maybe some destinys child fans will come along and clear it up :rotfl:

Hmm the wiki page for With me here says that with me was the second single, and on the right side in the discography box it says "No, No, No" (1997), "With Me" (1998).
So I still stick with No, No, No.. especially because I already submitted with that

"No No No" debuted at #64 on the Billboard Hot 100 on November 29, 1997 and climbed to #3 during its eighteenth week on the chart, it also peaked at number one on the Hot 100 Singles Sales chart and the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart for 2 weeks. The single entered the UK Singles Chart at #5 on 28 March 1998 and spent 8 weeks in the Top 75.

With Me
The single entered the UK Singles Chart on 11 July 1998 at #19. The song was exclusively released in EU markets and "Say My Name" was favored as a second single in North American markets.
