Hi kosqueen,
I've seen that question asked a couple of times but never seen an answer. Barclays and Co-Op will be my first choice and if they say "no" then I'll work through all the remaining ones. I have the distinct feeling that we may well end up using a personal account as a business account.

My brother in law got an account with the Nationwide although it was a basic account. they were prepared to look at it again in six months once he had run the account over six months.
He had been bankrupt for a couple of years though.Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Hi sammy,
Was that a business account though? Strictly speaking you're not supposed to use personal accounts for business but the banks don't always notice depending on the level of activity.

Hi mel
It's a strange situation really because we don't want a business account with an overdraft, just an account that we can pay money into and out of and perhaps the odd foreign transfer.
I can't understand what the problem is unless with everything being centralised they couldn't be sure that a recently discharged bankrupt wouldn't succeed in getting a £100k loan; mmm, interesting thought
