The Unce Ben's Wholegrain rice is now 3 for £3 and if you use 3 coupons the coupons go through at £5.07 which is 3 x £1.69 (£1.69 being the cost of 1 pack of the rice). You're in profit by £2.07 i.e £5.07 - £3, and that £2.07 simply comes off the rest of your shopping. I've used this today in a Tesco Extra. A reminder it's Tesco only, and the coupons are valid until Sunday 10th November.

got some yesterday no real problem, 9 packs.
Today in another Tosco I was told I could only have one pack, one per customer!

My Tesco have now put these at £1 per pack so only taking off £1 as coupon scans but with no amount so they key it in manually.

All other flavours still £1.69

Still free rice but the "excess" was handy for some treats (reduced Halloween cakes) yesterday.....:o

Managed to get some yesterday in a Metro. They had cleared the shelves of the wholegrain so off I went to the self service with Basmati. Worked a treat. No problem at all.

Thanks to the OP of the 3 for £x offer.

Much to my surprise I found the last packet of the wholegrain in a small Tesco store last Thursday, I think it's an Express branch. I've yet to try it. ;)

Its a strange texture, almost feels as if it is wrapped in polythene, but free rice is free rice, and it must be good for you???
