Tesco Uncle Ben's Rice glitch with Metro coupon

There is a coupon for a free Uncle Ben''s Wholegrain rice in today's Metro paper. Valid only at Tesco. I have just used 3 coupons at a Tesco Metro. They are currently 3 for £4 there One is £1.69. At checkout the 3 ring through at £5.07, then the £1.07 discount, making 3 for £4, then my 3 coupons took off 3 x £1.69 , = £5.07, and my other shopping which came to £2 had the £1.07 taken off, leaving 93p to pay. I hope that's easy to follow!

I used self check out in my local Metro and the discount did not come off automatically, staff member had to take the money off three times manually. Wonder if anyone experiences the same?

Although this has been moved to the 'it's gone....' board the glitch is still very much working at Tesco and the coupons if you have them or print off from Monday's Metro are valid until this Sunday, 10th November. Tesco now have the rice at 3 for £3, the 3 coupons still ring up at the price of 1 packet, £1.69, and if you're doing a shop 3 x £1.69 (£5.07) goes through for your 3 coupons, the cost of the rice is £3, and £2.07 i.e. £5.07 - £3 gets taken off the rest of your shopping. I've done this at a Tesco Extra today.
