Probably not, why would they give credit to someone with a bad track record?

What is poor about it anyway, defaults? Late payments? CCJ's?

Someone used my name to get credit and now I have a poor credit score because of it.. they never payed. I'm currently in the process of sorting it out with the relevant people (I.E Fraud teams) but until then..

Unfortunately until that is sorted, I don't think you have much chance.

Thanks, but it's really unfair imo as I've always paid for my stuff on time.

    It's clearly unfair.

But until you've sorted it out how on earth are Currys meant to know it's unfair?

Unfortunately, not according to your credit history, which is what prospective lenders see - until you have persuaded the companies concerned that it is fraud and got them to correct your credit report you are going to struggle to get any further credit (at least at reasonable rates).

When does the debt wipe off my file? I heard it does after so many years..
