Euro car park ticket

Hi
Am looking for some help and advice about a PCN I have just received from euro car parks.
I parked in a car park to attend a child birthday party at Pizza Hut on a retail park. I entered the car park at 1226 and left at 1517 ( according to their photographs ) - now I admit I went over the two hour limit but I did not go anywhere else - the party literally took that long !!!
I have received paperwork asking for £70 or £40 if I pay in 14 days.
I don't really think I should have to pay as I was a genuine user if the retail park.
The retail park is the Ravenside retail park in Chesterfield if that helps.
Does anyone know if I should pay this or should I just accept and pay it. Or is my best option to complain to Pizza Hut.
Thanks for your help.
LM
