Xbox 360 games for a 10 year old.

Son wanted xbox one for xmas but due to cost we will have to get the 360...can anyone tell me what is the best games to get him...i know a lot are expensive so we are looking to keep the cost down.

my son and his friends are all mad about minecraft-luckily it is cheap!
also, look at the pre-owned games available too.you can also trade games in.

My 8yr old son plays Minecraft a lot which isn't expensive.

It's totally harmless and you can play online with your friends as well. According to my son nearly all his friends play it (and he spends most of his time online playing with them).

There are of course the usual sports games, e.g. FIFA, but the latest versions tend to be expensive and I wouldn't advise buying an outdated one as their mates will probably all be playing the new one.

The 360 isn't a console that's really aimed at 10 year olds (I know a lot do play it) - most of the best games on it are shooters or adult-themed, e.g. Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead Redemption.

This is the reason he wants the xbox as all his friends play minecraft , he plays it on my laptop at the moment...just looking for a few games as stocking fillers.....minecraft seems to be the in game at his school
