Euthymol toothpaste - missing in action !

It's quite probably one of those Marmite things, you either love the taste of or hate. I love the taste of Euthymol, it just doesn't taste sugary.

Down to last tube, can't find it in ASDA or Sainsbury's locally or big Tesco near my mother.

According to MySupermarket, Euthymol is N/A at ASDA, Ocado, Sainsbury's, Superdrug, Tesco and Waitrose.

Has the manufacturer folded or burned down ? Anyone seen it ?

If it's gone is there anything similar around ?

I had a quick google and found

For everyone who is concerned at the lack of Euthymol on the shelves in the UK right now, Johnson and Johnson have explained they are currently experiencing supply problems. They have said they are likely to have the product back on the shelves in early 2014.

£6 for a tube of toothpaste :::faints:::: guess I'm going to have to research some other fluoride-free toothpastes to use until some point in 2014 !

Lidl do a herbal tootpaste called Dentalux (green tube) - it's a bit like Euthymol, though slightly stronger tasting.

Just been to Morrisons and they had 75ml tubes of Euthymol for £1.80. I suspect it's only "while stocks last".

Not tried this, going to Morrisons first on the off chance of getting Euthymol, especially because I got a leaflet through the door with coupons off and noticed Fast & Furious 1-6 for £28 which may be a suitable Christmas present for OH.

Hi!! I work in a pharmacy and I have spoken to the company for another customer who was asking for the same thing.
To cut a long story short they discontinued the product but then due to demand they are re launching the product in February, So keep any eye out as it will be back soon.
