    Wow gallygirl I love the excel house:) - that will soo motivate me, it will also be good for my kids to understand what I'm doing too (I've been wanting to get them involved so they learn some good moneysaving/debt repayment values)

    I assume my daily interest is the yearly interest divided by 364? My mortgage is currently interest only (we had to switch to afford it when DD2 was born) and I'm reluctant to change to repayment mortgage as I'm currently at risk of redundancy. My annual interest rate is currently 2.56%. It is an offset mortgage also.

    Over in MFWfairyland, things are progressing well...ebay sales from clear out and other moneysaving exercises have topped £171.95! Every penny of it has gone to the mortgage...not bad for 9 days worth of work!

    Still more cutbacks to be had and ebay sales to make but we've started out well....
