Hi,
If anyone as been following my story.
The MP wrote a letter to the CSA.
Today i got a phone call to say my complaint was now being dealt with Durham House in Washington. He made a point of telling me now he was my case worker. He also stated that i will get a response from him as he as got 2 weeks to look into my complaint.
My case did go clerical and this only happened just over a week ago. So where is my case, how am i going to get my payments.
Anybody have any idea about this. Or what happens now will my case now come out of Bolton or not.
Will the fact it as now gone there help me or make it worse, i seem to have that many dealings with the CSA my file must be working its way across the country.

Ditto.. I don't want to be the bearer of bad news but wherever your file is you have potential problems.. best thing to do is go back to the MP and ask him to find out what the current position is with regards to your matter...
My file went from Belfast to Cumnock to Bolton and now god only knows where it is.. no contact and when I ring they can't discuss my case because of the Data protection act.. bizarre..
Anyway good luck and keep on at them.... !!0 -
anyone elsa know anythink all help would be greatly recieved.
Thanks:ASexy_fufu:A0 -
What the hell is so difficult about sending your payment across?0

I dont know what i do know is they owe me over £700 and trying to get them to release the money is like talking to a brick wall.
By the time i get the money there will probably be about 2 grand, but thats no good when you need the money now.:ASexy_fufu:A0 -

No it's not, it's unfair - people rely on that money and it would only take them a few minutes on a Computer no doubt, to pay you.0 -
Its not that simple releasing the money.
As the case is clerical it means that the money probably has to dealt with manual payments and that takes up to 4 weeks to process each payment0 -

What's so manual about it? Do they have to walk to the local bank and pay a hundred other CSA claims out at the same counter?
This is ridiculous.0 -
If a JSA claimant had to have a manual payment somebody would write it out and hand it to them - it would be done on the same day (I know, I used to do it!!!!!) I can't see why if there is evidence that the money is on the computer, that a manual giro can't be made out and sent out immediately by the office actually dealing with the case. Any problems with the computer can be sorted and the money not paid out twice.,0

That's the crux of the matter though. This is the CSA computer.kelloggs36 wrote: »Any problems with the computer can be sorted and the money not paid out twice.
It'll be paid out 6 times to 3 different people, the money will be recalled 4 times, twice from the bank accounts of totally unconnected people, 3 threats of legal action will be sent to the same person, in separate envelopes, on the same day and the original giro will be rejected by the post office because the name on it doesn't match the ID documents the poor unfortunate supplicant has to show to collect the money.
That's why they don't do something sensible such as you suggest, they know it'll all go horribly wrong.
