I was thinking about if for a friends son but wouldn't call him a beginner, just wondered if it would be useful for a more experienced player?

Thanks for letting me know about the lego! My sons 2 favourite things lego and minecraft! Got them off the lego shop as amazon are much more expensive!

i looked at that one and feared it would be too basic so i bought the Minecraft for Dummies book just got it today and it looks to have a fair bit of info in it, also gives tips for beating the enderdragon etc etc

Try Etsy app or website..put Minecraft in the search box and the list is endless. Ive not yet used Etsy so cant comment on service, quality etc but will probably try it..my understanding is that its like a shop window for independant sellers

I didnt mean that the official site was over priced but that official products are over priced where ever they come from.

I agree, my sister told me this is what my nephews want for Xmas this year, when I saw the prices, I told her she'd need to get them herself as I refuse to pay that kind of money for a cardboard box, or a piece of foam!
