We have recently been lucky enough to pick up a panini press from Aldi for a bargain £9.99 :T. It is brilliant we have had tuna melt and cheese and bean filling so far... But now we are a bit stumped for ideas.:o
So what Panini's do you like? All ideas welcome as although DH and I are vegetarian (pescaetarian) we can adapt most meat related things.
Thanks xx

It was quite embarrassing, but I got my replacement! Lol
My all time favourite is chicken and mayo, sorry for my ignorance but I don't know much about vegetarian food, but I assume you could get a chicken substitute?Mummy to ds 29/12/06 dd 10/2/08 ds 25/5/11:Amy angel born too soon 18/11/12, always with me Emmie Faith:A15 projects in 2015 10/15completed0 -

we dont have a paninni press but i use my George foreman, i also use the part bake bagettes instead of paninnis as they flatten as they cook and look the same, my fave is bacon and brie, and beef with mustard mayo, sardines in tom sauce would be nice, (love it on toast so should imagine it would be nice) egg and mushroom, egg mayo and red onion, cheese and onion, fish fingers and tom sauce, hth xOne day I will live in a cabin in the woods0

Thank you all so much... This is great... Loads of ideas.:)
Kittycat it is really kind of you to type all of those ideas out for us. There are some combinations there that sound smashing but I would never have thought of them. Very much fancy the garlic mushroom one.... But probably not for breakfast!!!... although :rotfl:
Mmmmm.. bacon and brie... veggie bacon is really nice so will dedicatedly give that a go nice one betterlife.
Isn't it funny beyond Tuna the thought of doing fish on it hadn't occurred to either of us.
I think we will be living off these for a while trying out all of these great combinations0 -
I remember having a cheese and bean panini in high school! Ultimate comfort food0

There's a little coffee shop that we go to and I always have the same panini. It's brie, thinly sliced pear and caramelised onion. It's absolutely gorgeous and goes really well with a cappucino with ameretto syrup. Yum!0
