One final question 
Lets say you have debt of £500 with ARGOS... You dont pay it... How long before the debt becomes VOID? Is there such a thing? For instance, 10 years later, could they really keep chasing you?

I think there is something call Statute barring, I'm no expert but I believe if you don't pay for 6 years, and don't acknowledge debt, eg make contact re debt then it can be statute barred but I think you need someone who knows more than me to confirm this.Debt -it's a fight that I'm winning, dealing with debt one day at a time.

For you OP, it never becomes void.
If, however, you lived in Scotland, then, after a continuous period of 5 years, during which you neither acknowledged it in writing, nor paid anything toward it (and assuming there was no CCJ), then it would cease to exist.0 -
