Does anybody else keep getting logged out?

Just wondering if anyone else keeps getting logged out , it is happening to me continuously this morning , every 2 to 5 comps i'm entering i'm going to click thanks or the green tick and it's telling me to log in to complete the action.
To say it is really starting to get on my fluffing man boobs is a very polite way of expressing my frustration:mad:

Have you saved it so it keeps you logged in? there might be settings where it logs you out after inactivity.

But I'm all fine here! xx

after reading the comments below - I can say I have never been logged out, even after an hour of inactivity

hi sid, yes, it happens to me continuously,
I've asked in site feedback before why it happens & MSE Ian (iirc) replied to me & said it's for our own safety etc,
i'll try to find the post for you x

You will find no "auto logout time" setting in your UserCP. This is a forum-wide setting. As a rule of thumb try to move around the forums, from page to page, at least once every 15 minutes. Or you may be logged out.

There are actually a number of reasons why you might become logged out. In the vast majority of cases it's done as a precautionary measure. It's actually for your protection. These precautions prevent other users stealing your online identity. Unfortunately this means they are necessary and we cannot relax these rules.

I appreciate being logged out can be irritating but I hope than under the circumstances you can accept these precautions as a necessary evil.

It happens to me when I go to Facebook to enter a comp, but if I have a problem on there, when I come back to the original post to Thank, I have been logged out

Thanks , I could handle every 15 minutes occasionally but its happening every couple of minutes now , thought shutting the computer down and restarting and a couple of other things may help but no . Ah well will just have to put up with it for now I suppose and hope it gets back to normal ,I can't put up with this for more than a day though .
