I haven't played the others either, are they that good? for some reason I thought they wouldn't be..

Just working through Arkham City now, that one is very good in my opinion
  • For anyone who hasn't played any Batman games yet: Batman Arkham Asylum and Arkham City are now in the HumbleBundle. You pay what you want and to get Arkham City you have to beat the average. As far as I know they are redeemable on Steam.

personally i enjoyed arkham asylum alot. it has a cool creepy feel at times. the scarecrow character is awesome. killer croc is pretty good too. if there are negatives at all some people find it too easy i think and some find the gameplay a bit repetitive. i dont.
arkham city looks better and is a it more varied. you get to play as catwoman which is good. however overall i didnt think it was as enjoyable. it is also very tough at times for anyone who isnt good at games. there are parts when you have to fire a batarang through a small gap and manouvre it to hit a switch. you have to be very precise and it is hard to manouvre.
so my advice is definitely get arkham asylum but if you are not confident about your ability then maybe steer away from arkham city. having said that i did manage to complete it myself. if you are the type to through controllers around the room then dont get it as it might cost you a fortune.

  • thanks for reminding me that Batman has just come out. I will be buying that right now:)

    Same here :o
  • Will probably be the last game I buy for the 360, just waiting for the price to drop a little. I really enjoyed AA, but thought AC was a little 'samey-samey' and the riddler collectables became tiresome quickly.

Then I would suggest you do the main story only coz its pretty much the same again!
