IMHO this isnt an advent, just a normal weekly competition, there is no mention on site of it being christmas themed and from previous experience [running the 2011 advent thread] there will be a lot pop up like this and you just need to make a decision as to whether you want to include them all or not, or ask that it be linked to the weekly board

as time progresses there will become an ever increasing number of weekly competitions that just so happen to end at xmas, but that is where the similarity ends

to me the definition of an advent, is a competition that happens over the 12 days, 12 weeks, 24/25 days of december etc, not every single competition that starts whenever and happens to finish at xmas

mumto2boys and I were having a discussion about what is/isn't an advent earlier - as she does the weekly thread. she said she'd bring some over if she thought they were more like advents. so i didn't check ... had a hectic evening too, sorry not on the ball tonight ...

I'll take it out of the list and PM mumto2boys to delete her post.
