Just call me miss determined!!

Hello everyone!

Just a brief hello after an extremely eventful day! I had the bailiffs round!

Not because I couldn't afford to pay (although the amount of debt I'm in I'm surprised) but because I'd overlooked the matter of a bill and not had any letters (!)...that bit remains another mystery!!

So I'm crippled with debt, a lot due to being so unorganised it's untrue but also trying to manage several of my own businesses.

I owe my mum an awful lot of money......but my total figure roughly totted up is somewhere around 110/111k. The palpitations and sweat dripping off my brow when I say that...yikes!!!

I currently owe approximately....

5.5k on CC's and store cards, 2.8k on a loan, 75 ish to my mum, 7K to my nan, 17.5 business loan, 2.4 overdraft

At my very young age I'm not even sure how I've done this, well I do, it's a combination of frivolous ways, extremely bad planning, laziness and complete un-organisation when it comes to paperwork!!!

As my title says, I am determined to get myself out of this mess, there is no point being in denial, burying my head in the sand or getting depressed. I am the only one who can do anything about it! I'm going to be as positive and upbeat as I can along my journey of an organised and debt free life! I will win this!

Thank you to anyone who has read the above drivel!

So this evening I have started to tackle the paperwork and try and work out my monthly outgoings for personal and each business, quite frightening really. There just isn't enough coming in to cover the outgoings. Feel slightly overwhelmed!

I think my action plan (In brief)

    Personal -

    No cuts can be made
    Sell all that I can!!

    Business -

    Change suppliers
    Cut surplus staff
    Watch every penny

I think for personal I am going to look at each debt separately. Starting with the smallest I shall try and clear this first. Have listed some bits on ebay..hey it's a start.

Evening whitelotus, congratulations on having your light bulb moment :)

When you say no cuts can be made to personal, do you mean you won't make any cuts or you already barely spend anything? Why don't you do a SOA for your personal monies and a similar adapted DOA for each business?

Good luck, I'll be reading your diary :)
