Should I phone the EA?

I'm a FTB and really don't know the correct protocol or whether I'm just being a pain!
My EA phoned on Wednesday morning to see how things were going with my mortgage and valuation. I spoke to my mortgage advisor who said she had arranged the valuer, but that they will contact the EA themselves to arrange access to the property.
Mortgage advisor is now off until Monday.
But, I am wondering if the valuation has been sorted, so would it be ok to phone the EA to see if he's heard from the valuer or do I need to learn to be patient?

Most lenders have an SLA with the surveyor giving them 48 hours (weekdays) to get the valuation back.
Don't chase until that time has elapsed.I am a mortgage broker. You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. My mortgage advisor isn't in until Monday so I'll wait until Wednesday to annoy her
